PackMatch will change all of this by enabling BUYERS and SELLERS to complete the process in a fraction of time at no cost to the BUYERS and a small subscription fee to the SELLERS. BUYERS will be able to develop and submit specifications and instantly receive a list of qualified SELLERS from North America that best fit the BUYERS design specifications and SELLERS capabilities.

The Demand: BUYERS

PackMatch industrial platform provides the capability of accelerated problem solving, opportunity realization and realtime decision making capability to execute the sales order negotiation process at a substantially lower cost and much faster speed. Let us say a company has a need to increase their line speed or other productive metrics and has identified an old wrap around pressure sensitive labeler to be the bottle neck in the overall process.

The Supply: SELLERS

Most SELLERS do not have a dedicated sales force or process engineers to seek BUYERS. SELLERS receive their sales leads from registration lists obtained at the trade shows that costs hundreds of thousand dollars and little ROI per solid lead. SELLERS get no feedback on design capabilities shortcomings for lost sales orders or service contracts.

PackMatch enable SELLERS a method to register and upload their equipment/system capabilities (encrypted) in a structured pre-designed matrix. The Equipment capabilities are stored under SELLER’S name in the PackMatch depository and are matched to BUYERS design specifications (Wrap around labeler for example). SELLERS achieve all the above at a fraction of their current cost in the form of a prescription fee to register with PackMatch.

The Magic: PackMatch

Once they have approved the specification, search algorithms will utilize the data and begin matching member packaging equipment SELLERS of labelers to this companies specifications.

After the matches have been determined, a number of things will happen. The first thing is that the BUYERS screen will display up to ten member companies that match the specifications the BUYER had entered. It will also display the SELLERS contact information, product model number, cut sheet link and match percentage. This list will be saved by the project name on the BUYERS account.
